Cross River to create 20,000 jobs in 2016 through Agriculture

Cross River State government has announced plans to create over 20,000 jobs this year through agriculture. This was made known in Calabar by the Commissioner for Agriculture on the state, Prof. Anthony Eneji on Sunday. He disclosed that the state had begun the process of regenerating the ailing cocoa and oil palm estates in the state and had procured 10,000 hectares of land for rice production. According to him, the jobs would be created through cocoa, palm oil, rice and rubber production.
