MNCH2 is a UK government-funded five-year programme designed to improve maternal and child health across six states in Nigeria (Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Yobe and Zamfara).
MNCH2 aims reduce maternal and child mortality through the creation of a quality continuum of care from pre-pregnancy through the first five years of life of a child. The programme works with community organisations, local and state governments, health practitioners, and other stakeholders.
As the programme now enters its fourth year, this presents an opportunity to create a lasting impact on RMNCH services in Northern Nigeria through targeted and effective communications and cross programme learning and a skilled Communications Coordinator is needed to help implement the MNCH2 Communications Strategy and support the sharing of good practice and cross-learning.
