November 23, 2017CleanCyclers Africa is a social enterprise that advocates and takes action to ensure sustainability in waste management by recycling, clean climate by afforestation, and clean energy through biomass with the sole aim of raising a global community of leaders with a genuine interest in protecting the environment.
CleanCyclers will be screening “Nowhere to Run”; a film produced by the Yar’Adua Foundation that tells the story of climate change, environmental threats and unique challenges to security from the perspective of the affected communities in Nigeria. The film sensitizes the general public and inspires stakeholders to embrace efforts to mitigate potential crises due to climate change.
The screening is organized in partnership with SustyVibes; a sustainability NGO based in Lagos, Nigeria, and Port Harcourt Global Shapers Hub, an affiliate of the World Economic Forum.
The screening will hold on Sunday, 12th November 2017 at EdizWine Bar, 11a emerald street, GRA Phase2, Opposite Polo club gate, Port Harcourt Rivers State, by 5:00 pm prompt.
This event is strategically planned to commemorate the 22nd anniversary of the killing of Rivers-born environment crusader, Ken Saro-Wiwa.
The film was narrated and voiced by Late Ken Junior, the son of Late Ken Saro-Wiwa.
