June 8, 2015Afripeace Foundation-USA is organizing a Peace Leadership Training Camp For Nigerian Youth Leaders under the promotion of a culture of Peace.
CONFLICT RESOLUTION TRAINER/LEAD FACILITATOR:

TARGET PARTICIPANTS: Senior Secondary/high School Students, School/University Peace Clubs, Undergraduate students, and aspiring youth leaders in Nigeria, with particular attention to the Northeastern & Niger Delta regions of Nigeria.
Training will cover the following:
Conflict Resolution,ï€ Peace and Nonviolence, Rule of law, Effective Communication, Girl/Youth rights and development in a democracy,ï€ Information technology and social media, Job Skills: tips for successful job interviews; Resume/CV development and Environmental and Personal Safety; Resisting extremism and a culture of impunity. Respect for diversity and human rights.
Fee: US $250/per participant. Sponsorships/Scholarships will be made available to participants based on how much each will be willing to pay for the camp.
Space for workshop is limited to first 100paid/qualified applicants!!!
The fee covers: Feeding, Boarding, Training Materials, space/facilities, local transportation, and reproduction of materials for the participants, plus local program coordination and select guest travel.
Participants are expected to check in for boarding and registration from 8am-11am on July 20, 2015, at Government Secondary School, Owerri, and depart at 1pm on July 25, 2015.
