Thus far,2015 has been an exciting year for us the Focushub Nigeria; we have been working behind the scenes on specific impact based projects for the Niger Delta region and as part of our programs for impact for the year, we are organizing an ‘Inspiration Is Not Enough series’ to mark the International Girls in ICT day.
This event is targeted at female participants (15-30 years of age) living in the Niger Delta region. We hope to equip them with basic lifelong skills for ICT in the 21st century.
Activities will include basic hardware and software training, career exercises as well as speed mentoring sessions for participants.
Our goal is to ensure that every participant is conversant with basic tools and knowledge required to thrive in technology.
