The Foundation for Partnership Initiatives in the Niger Delta (PIND Foundation) is a Nigerian non-profit organization established in 2010 to promote peace and equitable economic growth in Nigeria’s Niger Delta region by forging multi-sectoral and multi-stakeholder partnerships at the regional, national and international levels.
PIND works closely with numerous partners to implement collaborative market-based community-owned programs to mitigate conflicts and boost economic opportunities for local businesses, ensuring that economic progress occurs in a systemic, inclusive and sustainable manner.
Together with partners, the Foundation is helping to break the cycle of poverty and conflict by creating strong and stable communities in all the nine States within the region: Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Imo, Ondo and Rivers, with special focus on the underserved and hard to reach coastal communities in the region that are most forgotten in development programming.
PIND intends to expand its database of vendors, consultants, service providers and partners and is therefore requesting interested and qualified organizations, consultants, vendors, and service providers to indicate their interest/specific area of competence by submitting your business profile and resume by September 5th 2021. PIND welcomes expression of interests in the following technical areas:
Agriculture Value Chain Projects (Aquaculture, Cocoa, Cassava, Palm Oil, Poultry)
- Field co-facilitators
- Livelihood, value chain and market systems research
- Fisheries and fishing,
- Technical curriculum development ( particularly Poultry and Cocoa)
- NAEC training consultants
- Project monitoring and evaluation
Capacity Building and Technical Support
- Capacity building for service providers, training and organizational development
- Technical support in business linkages
Monitoring and Evaluation
- Social research, project monitoring and evaluation
- Data gathering and Geospatial visualization
Peacebuilding
- Peacebuilding and conflict resolution
- Negotiation and mediation
- Social inclusion and gender equality

The Expressions of Interest (EOI), accompanied with the following mandatory documents, should be sent to vendorregistration@pindfoundation.org; the absence of these mandatory documents will invalidate an expression of interest. Kindly note that the submission of your expression of interest does NOT in any way guarantee engagement with PIND Foundation as vendors/grantees will be competitively selected. Female-headed organizations and consultants are encouraged and Organizations based in the Niger Delta are encouraged to apply.
EoI Format
EoI should be submitted in MS-Word format and it should include the following information:
- Introductory Letter – provide a letter introducing your company, providing a brief overview of who you are and your area of interest.
- Experience –provide details and evidence of relevant previous and current projects in intended category/categories.
- Financial (if applicable) – provide evidence of the necessary financial capabilities to perform the project.
- Due Diligence – provide necessary background details for PIND Foundation to be able to conduct its basic due diligence.
If you are is interested in undertaking services for PIND Foundation, please submit the mandatory documents listed below:
- Certificate of business registration/means of personal identification
- Profile of organization or resume (in the case of an individual consultant)
- Most recent tax clearance certificate
- Tax Identification Number (TIN)
- Full physical contact address
- Bank reference letter or confirmation of your account details containing accounts number and bank account name – addressed to the Finance Manager, PIND Foundation, # 25 Jimmy Carter Crescent Asokoro, Abuja
