Program Coordinator – Value Chain Appropriate Technology

Nabeel is a COREN registered Agricultural Engineer with over 13 years experience in Engineering Research and Teaching and holds a Doctorate Degree (Engineering) from Malaysia. Prior to joining PIND, he worked with the Nigerian Institute for Oil Palm Research (NIFOR). He was a recipient of the Netherlands Fellowship scholarship (NUFFIC) in 2004 and 2005 for Gender/Agriculture and Environmental Management programs respectively. His areas of specialization include Biological, Agricultural, Environmental Process Design/ Automation. He also has several publications in both local and international journals and serves as a reviewer for three international journals. Nabeel comes to PIND with a passion to use technology to reduce drudgery experienced in agricultural processing.
