PIND seeks to engage the services of 3 consultants to establish, inaugurate and facilitate Prevent Councils in Abia, Edo and Ondo states.
The primary aim of the Prevent Councils is to engage traditional institutions as positive influencers and conflict mediators in their respective state and communities, and proactively respond to identified potential precursors of violence and instability in collaboration with other stakeholders at the state, local and community levels. The Prevent Councils will function as part of the response components of PIND’s integrated early warning and early response system in the Niger Delta.
