It is important to have a platform that tells our stories, showcases our professionals and organizations, connects individuals, civil society organizations, the government and other stakeholders in the region towards promoting development of the Niger Delta. NDLink is that platform! We are poised to share the narratives that define the Niger Delta region and would love to have you be a part of the new voice arising in the region.

What does a champion do?
Champions contribute to the online conversations of the NDLink platform by engaging in forum topics and comments, posting articles, sourcing for regular blog posts and participating in social media discussions. They help to project issues they see around them for advocacy and developmental solutions.
Who is a Champion?
- A community champion is a member or stakeholder of NDLink, deeply interested in the welfare of the community and its members and who actively engages with other participants in the community to drive the community forward.
- An NDLink Champion has positive interactions with other members and is able to create a welcoming atmosphere for all members to share their views freely and openly.
- They have expertise in a particular area, with a strong online following of their own.
- A major attribute of a community champion is the ability to be open and respectful, to appreciate the ideas of others and look for input, not just from people they know, but also from other members of the community.
What We Need From Champions
- Able to spare at least 1-3 hours a month to the NDLink community, driving conversions in forum discussions, welcoming new members to the community, and creating awareness/promoting all community events.
- Participating in monthly conference/meet-ups with other NDLink Champions and with the content coordinator to review activities for the coming month and to source for new content for the community
- Provide at least 5 contributions to the forum discussions monthly, either in the form of initiating a forum discussion, replying to a forum discussion, or soliciting/providing resources to the community that would be useful for the general community.
- Contribute to regular blog posts by sourcing for blog posts from members and the general public.
- Help to drive NDLink’s online conversations on social media by retweeting, tweeting and regularly commenting on all SM platforms.

Christiana John
John Christiana is an undergraduate student of the university of Portharcourt studying Biomedical Technology. She is a young lady who loves reading, teaching (talking), writing, singing, resting and engaging in intellectual discussions . When on holidays she uses her free time to volunteer for different organizations like Knit together initiative and currently volunteering with AIESEC PH where she hones her writing and speaking skills and also acquires additional skills for her toolbox.
Korfii Uebari
Korfii Uebari is a graduate student of Environmental Chemistry (Msc) at the Department of Chemistry, Rivers State University. With research interests in Environmental Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry. He just concluded a research on the 'Distribution of Manganese and Iron in Deposited Dust from Food Milling Shops in Port-Harcourt City'. He is an environmental analyst, pollution control analyst and a chemist with commitment. Korfii is the founder of Innovative Pre-Eminent Initiative. (www.innovativesocietalinitiative.wordpress.com).

Kufre Efre has over 3 years of experience in teaching and he is a fellow of Canvassity fellowship program by young stars foundation. Kufre has worked on numerous projects like StopTheSoot campaign, VoteNotFight , ZeroCorruption, NoShishiNoBride and #LifeAfterOil . He is a social media influencer. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science (Aquaculture) from University of Port Harcourt in Nigeria. Kufre is driven by protecting the Niger-Delta environment for generations unborn. He is a member of Fisheries society of Nigeria (FISON) and a BOT member of Save the Creek initiative.

Tonye Briggs is a renowned blogger, entrepreneur and a social media expert. She started her career in Influencer marketing 3 years ago after graduating from the University of Lagos.
