July 3, 2015The Akwa Ibom state Governor, Udom Emmanuel has strengthened his resolve to open up the state for investors.
The Governor recently appointed an eleven-man committee on Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) for the state headed by Gabriel Ukpeh, an internationally celebrated auditor who is also a partner and risk quality leader for Africa at Price Water House Cooper (PWC), other members of the committee include: Offong Ambah,  Elijah Akpan,  Ini Urua,  Akan Udofia,  Andrew Jason,  Udeme Ufot, Mrs. Offiong Ekanem Ejindu, Larry Esin and the Commissioner for Investments, Commerce and Industry.
The Governor in a statement said the committee members are highly accomplished Nigerians and he expects them to deploy their vast contacts and interactions within international financial and investment circles to attract investments to the state.â€
