Family Health International (FHI 360) is inviting qualified candidates to apply for the Technical Officer, Global Health Security (GHS) role to support disease surveillance, outbreak preparedness, and response activities in Akwa Ibom State, with additional support across selected Nigerian states.

The role supports the Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) project and focuses on contact tracing, active case search, data management, capacity building, and coordination with government and health partners to strengthen systems for emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases.

Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in disease surveillance or public health programming
• Strong knowledge of IDSR, SORMAS, and public health data systems
• Experience working with government institutions, donors, and implementing partners
• Willingness to travel within Nigeria (10–25%)
