April 16, 2016World Malaria Day 2016: Tips to Combat Malaria
April 26, 2016#Internet4All campaign is powered by the Global Shapers Community. The campaign is based on the strong belief that universal access to the internet represents one of the most realistic and effective routes to delivering Africa’s economic and societal progress over a short period of time.
Africa Global Shapers in more than 94 cities launched the #Internet4All Campaign ahead of the World Economic Forum on Africa holding on Wednesday 11th to Friday 13th May 2016, in Kigali.
#Internet4All Campaign aims to fix digital poverty in the region, penetration on the continent still lags. If internet is made accessible in Africa, it will facilitate development in the continent.
To add momentum to the campaign and have more reach, the Global Shapers Community had a twitterthon with Entrepreneur, Influencer & Game changer Ashish Thakkar on Friday 15 April, 2016. He shared thought provoking ideas on The Fourth Industrial Revolution: Is Africa Ready?
