The objective of the programme is to boost fish farming value chain engagement of youth entrepreneurs specifically in the development of:
- Fish Farming technologies and techniques, including platforms for information sharing.
- Aquaculture business models, including cooperative communities and devices/softwares that enables such virtual to real world transitions.
- Aquaculture processing including preservation, packaging, marketing and platforms that enhance them.
- Aquaculture by-product processing and sales, especially trading platforms that shortens the distance from the farm to the pot or end-users, as the case may be.
- Aquaculture e-platforms for pricing and sales optimization
​​Towards this, a series of activities have been planned by Wennovation hub this year for the AgriHack event, beginning with a stakeholders’ engagement forum for actors in aquaculture value chain in the Niger Delta.
