September 30, 2015The International Entrepreneur Summit will bring together about 2,000 Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Port Harcourt to discuss ideas and strategies to help them grow in the midst of hard economic realities of the time.
The Managing Director of I-Contact Connect Communication Limited, organisers of the summit, Dr. Larry-Goodwill Ajiola, made this known while addressing newsmen in Port Harcourt.
According to him, the summit will hold in the second week of October in Port Harcourt and will provide entrepreneurs necessary information on how to better run their businesses.
The summit which will be tagged ‘Meet The SMEs, The Open Minded Entrepreneur’, will present an opportunity to all stakeholders from the various sectors of the economy, especially the informal sector, to further interact on key issues that are fast reshaping and affecting their business prospect.
“Realising and taking advantage of the potentials of a converge growing economyâ€, would afford participants the opportunity of asking questions and getting solutions from professionals and experienced business facilitators and speakers.
“Attendees shall meet with the co-market stakeholders from different economic sectors of their specialization to develop relationship and synergise. This we believe shall eventually bring national development as a result of knowledge acquired from the event,†he said.
The summit is an annual event which began in 2010.
