Amnesty International is in the process of designing a new global strategy to become a bigger, bolder, and more inclusive movement. The process will involve hearing from a wide range of stakeholders to help inform Amnesty International’s future direction. A Youth Task Force will be set up and be one of the key groups to help translate the results of the global consultation into Amnesty’s new strategy.
Purpose: The purpose of the Youth Task Force is to refresh Amnesty’s broad theory of change – working through the approaches and the tactics it must deploy to achieve change. Using the feedback received in earlier phases of the design process, the Youth Task Force will propose models and options to guide Amnesty International’s long-term influencing strategy. The Task Force will also work collaboratively with other internal groups to help guide the drafting of Amnesty’s new global strategy.
Scope: The Youth Task Force will consist of a group of up to 15 youth leaders aged 18-24 from both within the Amnesty International movement but also from outside (external) organizations and partners.
