The Ondo state government has flagged off a campaign to combat measles in the state.
The campaign which will last for 3 days is targeted at children from the age of 9 month to 5 years.
Speaking at the flag off ceremony of the campaign, the state governor, Olusegun Mimiko speaking through his Deputy Alhaji Lasisi Oluboyo said all children in the state ate eligible for the immunization exercise.
He urged all parents to make their children available for the immunization. He however gave assurance that deaths by measles can be reduced by 79%.
The exercise organised by Ondo State Government, is to complement the National Immunization Scheduleâ€Ž by the Federal Ministry of Health.
