Akpabio used the opportunity to ask the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria to rid the profession of unqualified personnel, saying that “We depend so much on you. You can do more for the Nigerian society and I urge you to do more. Help us remove quacks from your profession by setting up a monitoring unit.

I do know that you have existed for the past 87 years. I know that you must have learnt enough in the 87th years of your existence and I cannot advise you in five minutes,” he said.

The National President of Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, Mr. Akintayo who said the association was in the state for its 87th Annual Conference, lauded Governor Akpabio for the transformation of the State.
